About

Welcome.
I am Nicolas Savignac and these are my thoughts;
My education only truly began after the end of my studies. Outside of rigid frameworks and academic boredom, my interests grew and I began to teach myself a wide variety of subjects: Cinema; Mathematics; Neuroscience; Philosophical Movements; Novels; Painting; Politics and more. But above all, the queen of all subjects: History.
After being a dreamer, an entrepreneur with both successes and failures, having taken the slaps of disillusionment, having forged myself through solitary travel, having worked with my hands, having rigorously mastered foreign languages, having immersed myself in varied cultures, after having sculpted a body and forged a spiritual and contemplative spirit, I returned to my first love: writing.
A long time ago, I had left it by the side of the road. Mistreated, mocked, I even had a despicable and haughty attitude towards it. But its rediscovery, by a chance I cannot explain, through great novels led me to dive back into it. I declared my flame again to literature.
I hope through these articles and publications to share the knowledge acquired and experiences. To provide a glimpse of a piece of the universe of which we are all children. I want to give; to give a lot, before even thinking of receiving.
What my short years on this sphere have taught me, humbly, is that life is abrupt. That we are the only ones responsible for our actions and the unique shaper of our destiny. That movement is imperative not to stagnate. And above all that one must constantly step out of one's comfort zone to move forward. By creating this site, I am trying to check the three previous boxes.
These texts will therefore be an ode to curiosity, to colorful characters, to sharp but fair subjects, to fine literature, to various concrete projects, to general culture, to exceptional places and to personal growth. To help develop one's own critical thinking and to fiercely go out and find that will to win.
In the hope that we become together students of knowledge and disciples of experience.
Your servant.
“To give the gift of culture is to give the gift of thirst; the rest will follow on its own” — Antoine de Saint-Exupéry
